MICHELLE BY DAY
WE THE CULTURE
I manage Facebook’s We The Culture Program, a creative community fueled by Black creators, dedicated to showcasing original content that inspires, celebrates, and roots for Black culture, by enabling broader conversations important to the Black community.
Change Together, From the March on Washington to Today
I collaborated with Facebook Originals on our one-hour special hosted by Queen Latifah, executive produced by Will Packer Media, Jesse Collins Entertainment, and dream Hampton. In the special, we featured a series of candid conversations honoring the 57th anniversary of the March On Washington and a new era in the civil rights movement. The program was aimed at inspiring people to come together to #LiftBlackVoices, learn, and move as one towards equality and freedom.
Supporting Black and Diverse Communities
I worked with Facebook executives to develop segments of the $200 million commitments package to support Black-owned businesses and organizations as part of a broader $1.1 billion investment in Black and diverse suppliers and communities in the United States.

DJ D-Nice Benefitting HBCUs through the UNCF and Thurgood Marshall College Fund
We teamed up with DJ D-Nice and Club Quarantine to raise funds for HBCUs through the United Negro College Fund (“UNCF”) and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF”). Donations and our corporate matching funds benefited the COVID-19 Emergency Student Funds, which provide relief to their member HBCUs and students impacted by COVID-19.
